My main blog has nearly reached its photo capacity so I have created this blog to post my humble holiday snaps....as I do!!Starting with things I just happened to come across in the Castillian countryside.
We do have a few things of interest up here in the wild west of Yorkshire;)
a few miles down the road from this park is the national coal mining museum...so one can combine a visit to the Sculpture park with a trip down a 'real' coal mine :) more…
Can you see me in the third pic wearing a brown poncho?
Well, I first wore it when I visited the Alahambra in 1983 and have a similar photo of me looking through the same arch window back then.
I decided the poncho(amazing the things one hoards) should go on the return trip with me 24 y more…
I didn't know what the flowers were called but yes, they were lovely and delicate.
Oh..and it was a very nice young Egyptian room-boy who placed them there so nicely :) more…
