I've been out in my garden today inbetween the showers
I spied with my little eye,
a flying thing called a dragonfly
his colours though were not very bright
but he was perfectly formed alright!

Apart from the obvious goings on at the folk festival I took time out recently to appreciate the ambience and architecture of Warwick town itself.
The castle is especially magnificent
the second pic below is where the tourist information centre is housed and where I did a stewarding stint fielding questions about the folk festival
The people were friendly and having a good time
This post box is one of the most photographed boxes in the country.

There's always something to spoil it though..I was surprised to see it in Warwick but i suppose it must have its share ov idiots like the rest of our towns

These pics may look wishy washy to some but I liked the way the snails blended into the grouting on the wall
And the duck still managed (in my opinion) to look pretty as she stood in the shade on a roasting hot day in Seville!
